Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented DevOps Network Engineer to join our team! In this position, you'll contribute to a development team building red team tools. The successful candidate will improve the development experience (DX), Continuous Integration (CI), and demonstrate your own ability to manage, maintain, and secure the development network.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Design and define IT networks for new or existing computer systems supporting the development team.
- Perform complex systems development and IT infrastructure design work that may include logical network design, physical network design, manufacturing and development cost projections, and IT systems engineering.
- Evaluate new network technologies and make recommendations to project managers regarding integrating these technologies into the existing network.
- Develop documentation on new or existing systems.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of related experience; additional experience will be considered in lieu of degree
- Ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance
- Strong understanding, proficiency with Python, Networking, DHCP, DNS, routes, routers, switches, and firewalls to aid in network troubleshooting and design.
- 1 or more of: Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Salt (configuration management)
- 1 or more of: GitLab CI, Jenkins CI, GitHub CI
- 1 or more of: Linux, Debian, Ubuntu, Red Hat (RHEL), OpenSUSE
- Windows (any version)
- 1 or more of: Docker, Podman, or OCI containers
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills with a focus on the creation of technical documentation for testing
- Ability to write custom HTTP/Rest/DNS/etc.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
- 5+ years of IT Network Engineer of Software Developer/Software Developer in Test experience
