The team you’ll be joining:
The Monetize team manages our key ad monetization partner relationships across the Americas, and you will be tasked with identifying new opportunities as well as managing and growing existing revenue. The role will work closely with potential and existing publisher clients to strengthen relationships and seek opportunities to scale the account by identifying up-sell opportunities and evangelizing new products.
The fit we're looking for:
We are looking for someone with experience in both closing new business and strengthening existing relationships. This person should have industry experience and a high say/do ratio. They need to be a problem solver who can find opportunities even in tough situations. Most importantly, we want someone motivated to wear multiple hats and work across different teams to help grow our business.
Responsibilities:
- Forecast revenue and manage a pipeline of potential and current business
- Serve as the main point of contact in all matters related to client concerns and needs
- Grow key existing partnerships through a deep understanding of our products and service offerings to upsell and cross-sell to clients
- Develop strong relationships with decision makers in our key accounts in North America
- Put together, attend, and lead client meetings and QBRs
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams (Legal, Finance, Ops, Product, Demand) to structure deals that maximize revenue for all constituents and to ensure client satisfaction
- Synthesize customer feedback and help inform the product roadmap
- Attend industry events to evangelize Liftoff and our technology
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in managing new and existing business, attaining quota or quarterly revenue targets
- Track record of leading successful client negotiations to close new business
- A strong understanding of data analysis and visualization, and the ability to extract and clearly communicate insights from complex data sets
- A relationship builder with the ability to build meaningful connections with clients
- An entrepreneurial and ambitious self-starter who thrives in a dynamic environment
- Comfortable working autonomously as well as part of a team
- Effective communicator
- Experience in the tech industry—mobile, gaming, ad tech, e-commerce, or consulting is a strong plus
- Exemplary organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to travel up to 25% for in-person client meetings
Location:
This role is eligible for full-time remote work in one of our entities: CA, CO, ID, IL, FL, GA, MA, MI, MN, MO, NJ, NV, NY, OR, TX, UT, and WA.
We are a remote-first company with US hubs in Redwood City, Los Angeles, and New York City.
Travel Expectations:
We offer several opportunities for in-person team gatherings, including but not limited to project meetings, regional meetups, and company-wide events. We expect our employees to attend these gatherings at least once per quarter. These gatherings provide essential opportunities for collaboration, communication, and team building.
Compensation:
The following are our salary ranges for this role:
- SF Bay Area, NYC, Los Angeles/Orange County, Seattle/Olympia: $85,000 to $105,000 base + variable = OTE $113,050 to $139,650
- Austin, San Diego, Santa Barbara, Boston, Denver, Portland: $78,000 to $97,000 base + variable = OTE $104,000 to $128,000
- All other cities and towns in our approved states: $73,000 to $90,000 base + variable = OTE $97,000 to $120,000
Liftoff's compensation strategy includes competitive market rate along with equity and benefits and perks that will give our employees what they need to do their best work. In order to ensure teams are compensated fairly for the work performed, we map out specific levels and take into consideration the cost of labor within each location. Liftoff provides employees a total compensation package of competitive market salaries, equity, health and wellness stipends, medical benefits associated with your country of residence. The base compensation will vary based on location, experience as well as level.
