Role Description
As an Environment 3D Artist, you will be a part of a team responsible for creating high-quality 3D models. You will work closely with the Art Leads of the project and Art Director. Your duties will consist of:
- Creating assets or complex sets of assets.
- Integrating and setting them up into UE5.
- Building both organic and hard surface assets.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3+ years of experience in creating Environment / Prop / Weapon Art in AA or AAA game development.
- Have a good eye for world building and scene composition.
- Comfortable with organic as well as hard surface 3D modelling.
- Great knowledge of 3D packages such as 3DsMax, Maya or Blender.
- Proficient in Zbrush, Photoshop, Substance 3D Painter.
- Solid understanding of material creation processes.
- Good experience using Unreal Engine for Environment Art.
- Able to work with craft leads to achieve art direction and visual fidelity.
- Adaptable to change and shifting priorities.
- Understanding of tileable textures, trim sheets, unique unwraps and displacement map creation.
- Art portfolio is mandatory.
