• Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, transform, and store data from multiple sources.
• Support optimization of data processing workflows for performance and reliability.
• Implement batch and real-time data processing using Apache Spark, Kafka, and Databricks.
• Support development of data lakes, warehouses, and lakehouses (Azure Databricks).
• Work with structured and unstructured data across SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Implement data validation, cleansing, and monitoring.
• Support data governance and compliance policies (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
• Maintain documentation, metadata, and data lineage.
• Deploy and support cloud-based data solutions (Azure, Databricks).
• Collaborate with data analysts and software engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience in data architecture or related field (within the overall required experience).
• Total experience aligned to mid-level seniority.
• Experience with data ingestion pathways including ADF.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, or Scala.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
• Experience with big data frameworks (Apache Spark, Hadoop, Databricks).
• Knowledge of data modeling and API-based integrations.
• Familiarity with Medallion Architecture.
