Talent Acquisition Specialist

Location: Remote – Latin America Only
Type: Full-Time

About the Role

We're looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our growing People team at tapouts. In this role, you'll work closely with our Talent Acquisition Lead to drive the full recruitment cycle β€” from sourcing and screening to presenting top candidates to our hiring teams.

This is a hands-on, operational role built for someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment, loves finding great people, and isn't afraid to challenge the status quo when it comes to recruiting strategy. What You'll Do

  • Own the day-to-day recruiting operations: reviewing CVs, conducting interviews, and managing candidate pipelines
  • Source and engage top talent across Product, Engineering, and Design roles
  • Present qualified candidates to internal hiring teams with clear and compelling summaries
  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition Lead to refine processes and improve the overall candidate experience
  • Use AI-powered tools and modern recruiting technologies to increase efficiency and quality of hires
  • Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to deeply understand role requirements and team culture
  • Contribute ideas and help shape the talent acquisition strategy at tapouts

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally within a startup or high-growth tech environment
  • Proven experience hiring for Product, Engineering, and/or Design roles
  • Experience recruiting for US-based companies or US-based teams is a strong plus
  • Advanced English (required)
  • Familiarity with AI recruiting tools and a genuine interest in leveraging technology to improve hiring
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple roles simultaneously and prioritize in a fast-changing environment
  • Experience with ATS platforms (Workable experience is a plus)
