• Manage day-to-day accounting department operations while ensuring dual coverage of all functions; serve as backup on critical functions • Oversee accounting policies, financial systems and processes, tax and regulatory requirements, internal controls and management reporting and forecasting • Ensure month-end financial close and reporting in accordance with established timelines • Ensure the company is in compliance with all internal policies and relevant regulations and ensure any external filings are completed in a timely manner • Drive efficiencies, automation and accuracy in the department • Ensure financial management reporting tools and processes are in place to support the ongoing and future needs of the business • Develop, prepare and present monthly management reporting packages • Present monthly and year-to-date financials with accompanying analysis of results • Deliver data-driven financial insights to leadership on a regular basis • Develop regular dashboard style reporting and analysis, including key metrics reports, and conduct ad hoc financial analysis as required • Lead the company’s strategic planning and budgeting process • Support the performance of due diligence and oversee integration of acquisitions • Other duties as assigned
