Role Description
UTHealth Houston is looking for an EPIC Imaging Ancillary Integration Analyst to oversee and perform integrations for a major outpatient surgery center with UT Physicians, including radiology and interoperability expansions. This senior-level analyst will be responsible for the ongoing design, build, testing, validation, and support of any and all assigned modules across the healthcare system.
- Credentialed in at least one of the following modules: Radiant, Beaker, Bridges, or Ambulatory.
- Work with operational stakeholders and IT technical staff to troubleshoot Epic system issues.
- Capture requirements for new initiatives and support project planning and execution.
- Experience with integrations or implementations.
- Communicate improvements needed for business processes.
- Contribute to the success of the UTHealth mission from a technological, clinical, administrative, and financial perspective.
- Substantial experience in implementing and integrating a range of Imaging Applications with Epic.
- Experience with systems such as VNA, Fuji Synapse, Siemens Syngo, GE Viewpoint, Philips ISCV, PowerScribe 360, DICOM, HL7, Mammography applications, LIS systems, and other middleware applications.
- Willingness to come into the office at the manager's discretion.
- Preference for candidates who live in Texas or are willing to relocate.
- Role is mostly remote but may require occasional office visits.
- Ability to adapt to new applications and hardware/software as needed.
Qualifications
- Superior communication skills, both oral and written.
- Superior customer relation skills.
- Familiarity with project lifecycle and project management methodologies.
- Ability to plan and manage projects of various sizes.
- Analytical skills to collect and summarize information from diverse sources.
- Must receive a passing score on all required exams and projects within a specified timeframe.
- EPIC Certification in either Radiant, Beaker, Bridges, or Ambulatory.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline required.
- 5 years of experience in a healthcare-related field required.
- 3 years of experience supporting one or more Epic modules preferred.
- Large scale healthcare systems planning and implementation experience preferred.
- May substitute required education with equivalent years of experience.
