We're looking for a Business Analyst to bridge clinical operations, product, and engineering on a VA clinical decision support platform, translating complex healthcare workflows into clear specifications that help the team build interoperable tools clinicians actually use.
What you'll be doing:
- Elicit, document, and validate business and functional requirements from clinical and operational stakeholders
- Write detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flow diagrams for engineering
- Support FHIR-based data mapping efforts, including working with clinical terminologies
- Serve as a liaison between clinical SMEs, product managers, and development teams throughout delivery
- Assist with UAT planning and execution, coordinating with clinical end users to validate system behavior
- Analyze alert performance data and identify patterns contributing to alert fatigue or low adoption
- Maintain requirements traceability matrices and documentation repositories
What you’ll bring:
- 3+ years of BA or business systems analyst experience, ideally in health IT
- Familiarity with FHIR, HL7, or healthcare data standards
- Proficiency in writing user stories and process flow documentation
- Experience facilitating requirements sessions with clinical or technical stakeholders
- Experience with EHR platforms such as Epic or Cerner/Oracle Health is a plus
- Exposure to CDS Hooks or clinical decision support logic is a plus
- Thrives in a remote, collaborative Agile environment and genuinely enjoys working closely with a cross-functional team
- Communicates clearly and openly, whether writing technical documentation or coordinating with clinical stakeholders
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Compensation:
At Oddball, it’s important each employee is compensated competitively and fairly. In alignment with state legal requirements. A range for the included position is listed below. Be advised, actual offer details are determined by job category, job location, and candidate skill level.
United States Wage Range: $90,000 – $120,000
