About Us: Borderlands Cinematic Arts – Towards a visionary cinema of the borderlands

Borderlands Cinematic Arts is a groundbreaking creative hub within Arizona State University’s Sidney Poitier New American Film School. More than just a studio, we’re a place where world-class storytellers craft cinematic works that capture the depth, complexity, and power of the borderlands experience.

At Borderlands Cinematic Arts, we push the boundaries of storytelling through three key initiatives:

●     Creating: Producing bold new films by our visionary founders—award-winning filmmakers and ASU professors Alex Rivera and Cristina Ibarra.

We’re  a small, mission-driven team dedicated to using film as a force for change and we’re looking for an Operations and Administrative Coordinator to help us grow this vision with efficiency, creativity, and care. If you’re ready to be part of something transformative, we want to hear from you.
