Role Description
The Mission Integration & Maritime Solutions (MIMS) Submarket Contracts team is searching for an accomplished Contracts professional to join our highly skilled team in conducting business with the USG. Our business pursues and executes on multiple USG contracts with new business opportunities each year. We are in search of an individual contributor able to succeed with minimal supervision and direction in a fast-paced environment.
- Perform contracts management functions across the spectrum of actions associated with providing supplies and services, from capture through proposal, contract award, and all phases of contract administration for the Autonomy, Intelligence & Maritime Solutions (AIMS) market segment.
- Provide business advice and guidance to and coordinate with other functions including program management, finance, legal, subcontracts, business development, engineering, human resources, accounting, and compliance to effectively manage a breadth of responsibilities, including contract solicitations / capture, negotiations, and contract terms, including fulfillment of related obligations.
- Serve as authorized, empowered representative for the Company as interface with Customer buying representatives responsible for building effective relationships and managing contracts to support business goals and objectives.
- Coordinate solutions to contractual issues and Customer concerns related to Company performance.
- Ensure contractual compliance with all laws and regulations, and adherence to Delegation of Authority and approval requirements for proposals and contractual actions.
- Lead and support audits, as appropriate, with internal and external audit teams and agencies to support contract-related activities and verify compliance.
- Ensure final contract documents are consistent with agreements reached at negotiations.
- May plan and participate in training of contract practices within Company.
- Collect contractual data and compiles reports in response to Corporate and Business Area requests.
Qualifications
- Contracts experience working DoD Contracts
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Power Point)
- Proven experience proposing, negotiating, administering and closing a variety of fixed price type (FFP, FPIF) and/or cost type (CPFF, CPIF) DoD contracts
- Sound working knowledge of the FAR, DFARS, and other government acquisition regulations
- Proven ability to manage routine and unique problems/issues to help develop solutions for multi-million-dollar complex contracts
- Ability to obtain a DOD security clearance
- Must be willing to travel is required.

- Should be detail oriented and able to work in a virtual team environment
- Must have excellent presentation skills, strong analytical abilities, and be a self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision
