Your Role
Alchemy is currently seeking experienced professionals to join our Workday HCM team! If you have a Workday HCM consulting background, bring your knowledge and talent to Alchemy’s fun, team-centered, and customer-focused environment!
As an experienced member of the deployment team, you’ll seek inventive solutions on behalf of customers, and you’ll help develop and refine our deployment strategy.
Your Responsibilities
- Be an expert in the Workday HCM product suite and lead clients through their Workday implementation and the project development lifecycle.
- Perform the following as a member of a deployment team: understand customer business requirements, design and configure the Workday solution, demonstrate configurations through the development of prototype systems, assist in testing the Workday solution, and complete knowledge transfer to customers.
- Work with customers to help convert legacy data into Workday.
- Assist the integration consulting team in configuring and testing integrations between Workday and other third-party or custom solutions.
- Collaborate effectively and synergistically to team-based projects.
- Ensure customers understand and take advantage of Alchemy and Workday best practices.
- Strive to innovate and suggest new approaches and tools to deploy Workday efficiently and effectively.
- Help ensure customers remain referenceable once in production.
- Work with clients to identify/resolve all issues that could impact project scope and/or timeframe.
- Partner with Project Managers to ensure alignment across project plans and allocated budgets.
- Help mentor new consultants and serve as a professional role model.
- Maintain Workday certifications and qualifications.
About You (Required Skills)
- Bachelor's Degree or commensurate work experience.
- 3+ years of experience implementing Workday HCM, , Talent, Benefits, preferably with a Workday partner.
- Previous experience leading and deploying HCM in Workday, Ellucian, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, or similar applications.
- Ability to use rigorous logic to understand hidden problems and identify effective solutions.
- Ability to effectively manage against timelines and goals.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills with both technical and functional end-users.
- Strong HE Union experience
- Ability to travel approximately 40%
- Workday certification in HCM
