Role Description
We’re looking for a highly data-driven Sales Engineer who sits at the intersection of Sales and Marketing. This role is responsible for transforming ongoing research, perception, and brand data into compelling stories, outbound-ready content, and insight-led activations that strengthen our brand, elevate our sales team’s presence, and drive revenue.
You’ll work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Research to ensure our data shows up consistently and credibly in-market across our brand LinkedIn presence, sales engagements, executive materials, and live events. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves digging into data, crafting narratives, and using modern AI tools to move quickly from insight to impact.
What You’ll Do

Sales Enablement & Deal Support
- Partner with Sales to develop insight-led presentations, pitch decks, and customer-facing materials.
- Equip sales teams with research-backed narratives, data points, and visual assets for outbound, inbound, and executive conversations.
- Support strategic deals by pulling custom insights and translating complex data into clear, compelling value stories.
- Create short-form narratives, email copy, Loom walkthroughs, and supporting materials for active opportunities and partner conversations.

Brand & Social Presence (Company + Sales)
- Own and support insight-led content for the company’s LinkedIn presence in close collaboration with Marketing.
- Translate ongoing brand, perception, and reputation data into social-ready narratives, POVs, and visual concepts.
- Enable sales leaders and reps to build their personal and professional LinkedIn presence using company research and insights.
- Adapt insights appropriately for different channels, including brand social, executive social, outbound sales content, and event promotion.

Research, Data & Insight Translation
- Dive into internal and external research tools to uncover perception shifts, trends, and compelling data stories.
- Synthesize complex datasets into clear, persuasive insights tailored to sales conversations, social media, executive audiences, and live presentations.
- Act as the bridge between raw research and polished storytelling that can be reused across sales, marketing, and events.

Events, Conferences & Activations

Support the development of insight-led storytelling for:
- Conference presentations and keynote sessions
- Panel appearances and sponsored talks
- On-site activations and experiential moments
- Partner and sponsorship content

Translate tracker, perception, and research data into visual and narrative assets used in:
- Slide decks and talk tracks
- On-site and experiential materials
- Event landing pages and microsites
- Social promotion before, during, and after events
- Partner with Marketing to ensure events reinforce brand positioning in creative, differentiated ways.

Support the development of insight-led storytelling for:

AI-Enabled Content Development

Use modern generative AI tools as a core part of your workflow to:
- Summarize perception shifts and research findings
- Generate first-draft narratives and social content from data
- Script Loom videos and walkthroughs for sales and partners
- Adapt messaging for different audiences and channels
- Develop visual and experiential concepts for events
- Accelerate presentation, sales material, and content development

Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Serve as connective tissue between Sales, Marketing, and Research to ensure alignment on message, narrative, and execution.
- Contribute to messaging frameworks and ensure consistent insight-led storytelling across channels.
- Bring a test-and-learn mindset to how we show up in-market, including experimentation with new formats, AI workflows, and activation ideas.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and data storytelling skills; comfortable working directly in research and insight tools.
- Ability to translate data into compelling narratives, visuals, presentations, and social content.
- Experience supporting sales teams with enablement content, value storytelling, or technical narratives.
- Comfort owning brand LinkedIn or social content in a B2B environment.
- Strong collaboration skills across Sales and Marketing.

Compensation
In order to comply with equal pay and salary transparency laws in various locations, we believe the target range of base compensation for this role is $80,000-95,000. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location.
