Role Description
In this role as an IT System Engineer Lead, you will coordinate major IT programs, support modern technical solutions, manage impactful projects, and deliver enterprise-wide support as part of the IT Client Technology Services team. Supporting more than 3,500 users across multiple departments, you will lead the planning, coordination, and management of core programs such as:
- Annual computer replacements
- Equipment purchasing
- Asset inventory
- Vendor-managed deployments and repairs
You will also guide and support IT service delivery teams by:
- Coordinating work
- Providing direction
- Fostering growth through coaching and mentoring
Strong communication skills are essential, as you will regularly explain complex technical topics and options to non-technical County staff and leadership, helping ensure clarity and informed decision-making across the organization.

Qualifications
- Six or more years of information technology experience required
- Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in information technology, computer sciences, business, public administration or related field
