Role Description
We are seeking an experienced Technical Engineer/Technical Architect to design and develop a new automation solution around our timekeeping processes. In this role, you will lead an effort to develop a notification system that will overhaul and dramatically improve how potential mischarging in employee timesheets is identified and corrected. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical skills with practical implementation experience to deliver a solution that enhances our timekeeping accuracy.
Role Responsibilities:
- Evaluate technology options and provide recommendations.
- Lead the development of automated notifications through Microsoft Power Platforms (Power Automate, Power Apps, etc.).
- Integrate data from AFS data products into the new tool.
- Document technical design of the new tool.
- Create and execute test cases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across IT and Finance to ensure acceptable solution is in place.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in business process analysis and improvement.
- Demonstrated expertise in Power BI, M365, Power Automate, and Power Apps.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with data analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working across functional boundaries.
- Microsoft Power Platform (especially BI, Automate, Apps) – Expert
- Business Process Analysis – Advanced
- JIRA – Intermediate.
- Financial Forecasting Tools – Intermediate
- Data Analysis – Intermediate
Desired Skills
- Working knowledge of forecasting and timekeeping tools (TM1, Data Fabric, or Deltek Costpoint).
- Familiarity with AFS timekeeping and forecasting processes.
- Experience evaluating or implementing business process automations.
- Experience with Jira/Zephyr.
