We are on the lookout for an experienced TPA VP Business Development (Northeastern U.S.) to join our growing team! In this role, you’ll develop and execute strategic growth plans, build trusted partnerships with clients and industry stakeholders, and represent Davies’ full suite of capabilities that include TPA services, managed care, life and health administration, and risk consulting. You’ll play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence, delivering tailored solutions, and driving measurable results across your area of expertise. You will serve as a key member of the senior leadership team, responsible for expanding Davies’ footprint, strengthening client relationships, and enhancing the company’s market presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute tailored business development strategies for your assigned service line, aligned with Davies’ overall growth objectives and designed to maximize cross-sell opportunities across the organization
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with insureds, brokers, carriers, program administrators, and other key stakeholders, proactively introducing complementary Davies services to expand client engagement
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor by identifying evolving needs and recommending integrated, cross-functional solutions that deliver added value
- Collaborate closely with internal teams—including operations, marketing, service delivery, and other service line leaders—to design holistic, client-specific solutions and ensure consistent messaging across offerings
- Represent Davies at industry events, conferences, and panels, promoting the firm’s full portfolio of capabilities and strengthening awareness of cross-service solutions within your market segment
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments relevant to your service area to identify opportunities for bundled services and strategic cross-sell initiatives
- Partner with senior leadership to shape go-to-market strategies, pricing models, and business plans that encourage multi-service adoption and drive sustainable, enterprise-wide growth
- Leverage and expand cross-sell opportunities across Davies’ full portfolio to deliver integrated, end-to-end solutions that meet evolving client needs and deepen overall client relationships
This role is a full-time, remote position - candidate must be located in the Northeastern U.S.

- Proven success in business development, sales, or account management within TPA insurance
- Strong professional network and credibility to open doors and build trust with C-suite and senior stakeholders
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, both in-person and virtually
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on growth, innovation, and building new opportunities
- Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams, managing competing priorities, and driving results
- Willingness to travel for client meetings, industry events, and internal collaboration
