Job Description

• Lead the implementation of the Corporate Environmental Management System • Partner with facility teams to maintain compliance with environmental regulations, permits, and Conagra procedures • Identify environmental risks and support development of action plans • Assist with environmental assessments, internal reviews, and follow-up activities • Provide operational support and troubleshooting for environmental control systems • Support capital planning by identifying environmental needs • Contribute to sustainability initiatives including waste reduction, energy and water conservation, and greenhouse gas reduction efforts • Develop and deliver EMS and compliance-related training to site teams • Communicate program updates, risks, and performance metrics to plant leadership

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Biology, or Chemistry
7+ years of experience in safety, health, environment, or engineering, including 3+ years of multi-site responsibility
Experience engaging employees to implement environmental strategies across platforms
Experience leading projects and presenting to all levels of the company
In-depth knowledge of environmental regulations and their impact on the food industry
Willingness to travel 50%–60%
