• Lead and manage the design and engineering of battery energy storage systems, including system architecture, electrical layout, and integration with power generation, distribution, and control systems ensuring contract compliance, utility requirements, and AHJ requirements. • Review feasibility studies, site assessments, and energy storage system sizing analyses to evaluate project viability, identify technical requirements, and recommend optimal BESS configurations and technologies. • Review and develop detailed technical specifications, drawings, and documentation for BESS components. • Provide technical oversight during procurement processes including vendor selection recommendations and approval drawing reviews. • Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, vendors, and contractors to design, procure, install, and commission BESS equipment and systems. • Oversee system modeling, simulation, and analysis to optimize BESS performance, efficiency, and reliability. • Oversee and provide engineering support for testing, validation, and commissioning of BESS systems. • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project teams.
