Job Description

• Creating sales opportunities by managing the pre-sales technical process and demonstrating Akamai's technology to customers. • Managing the technical proposal process and ensuring all technical information and recommendations addressing customer requirements are accurate. • Tracking account activity for business analysis and reporting, designing technical solutions to meet our customer's needs. • Leading sales activities such as Technical Demos and Proof of Concepts (POC's). • Maximizing customer satisfaction based on the customer's needs and business requirements.

Job Requirements

8yrs of experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or another related field
Experience working in a customer-facing or consulting role in technical presales/sales engineering/post-sales
Demonstrate understanding of the internet, including but not limited to technologies like TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP(S), APIs etc.
Experience or an interest in working with DevOps, Media or Internet Security
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills including communicating complex technical content to a range of audiences
Be a team player, able to collaborate, prioritize, and solve problems in a fast changing environment
