Job Description
Job Requirements
- Minimum of high school degree or equivalent; Bachelor Degree Preferred
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience conducting on-site sales calls
- Lives in a location within the assigned territory that the Company logically determines will best serve our customers
- Prior sales experience in industries that have shown dramatic growth and volume in sales, such as appliance, agricultural equipment, power tool, electronics, consumer durables, construction equipment, and/or power sports businesses preferred
- Prior dealer/distributor sales experience preferred
- Proven sales performer with excellent negotiation skills
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems independently and transfer expert knowledge into practical solutions as part of maintaining a successful relationship with dealers and customers.
- Demonstrated understanding of market positioning both from a financial and product viewpoint.
- Demonstrated knowledge and/or aptitude and passion for learning extensively about outdoor power equipment and the industry in order to represent the Husqvarna brand and products effectively to dealers.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to develop high quality working relationships both internally and externally.
- Strong planning and organizational skills, demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced work environment.
- Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Office software applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), as well as the ability to learn and master other in-house programs that track sales and customer relations.
- Ability to work under limited supervision while maintaining accountability for sales results.
