Job Description

• Develop and execute marketing and communications strategies for the Online Student Advisory Board (“OSAB”) to engage the participation of other online students. • Create engaging content for digital platforms to promote OSAB initiatives, events, and services. • Manage OSAB’s social media presence, including content scheduling and community engagement. • Collaborate with FAU’s marketing team to reach the online student community effectively. • Commitment to serving in the role for at least one academic year. • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Degree-seeking undergraduate student with a minimum of six credit hours (or twelve if international) and a 2.0 GPA.
  • Degree-seeking graduate student with a minimum of five credit hours (or nine if international) and a 3.0 GPA.
  • Must be enrolled in at least one FAU online course for the fall and spring semesters.
  • Preferred skills include, but not limited to: Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Comfortable applying or willing to learn a great range of software and technology.
  • Experience in marketing, communications, or social media management.
  • Strong writing and content creation skills.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and analytics.
  • Creative thinking skills with attention to detail and ability to engage online audiences.
