Job Description
• Build and manage a robust pipeline by leveraging your existing network of coaches, front office, and football operations professionals across collegiate and professional football.
• Generate new sales opportunities through strategic networking, targeted outreach, and relationship cultivation within the coaching community.
• Lead the complete sales process from initial discovery through product demonstrations, proposal development, negotiation, and contract execution.
• Conduct compelling on-site and remote product demonstrations that showcase how Teamworks Coaching and Scouting solutions solve critical workflow challenges for coaching staffs.
• Achieve product mastery across the Teamworks Coaching and Scouting platform through intensive training and hands-on practice.
• Consistently meet and exceed sales quota while expanding account penetration and product adoption within existing customer base.
• Partner with Product Success, Customer Success, and Marketing teams to ensure seamless client experiences and provide market feedback that drives product innovation.
• Travel regularly to client sites, conferences, and industry events to build relationships and demonstrate products in live coaching environments.
Job Requirements
- Extensive experience as a football coach at the Power Four (P4) collegiate level, preferably having worked at multiple schools to expand your network.
- Background as a Graduate Assistant, Quality Control coach, Position Coach, Coordinator, or other coaching role that provided deep exposure to coaching workflows and technology usage.
- NFL experience is a significant bonus, providing additional network depth and understanding of professional football operations.
- Familiarity with the football technology landscape, including platforms like PFF (Pro Football Focus), Hudl, Catapult, and similar coaching tools - able to articulate competitive differentiation.
- Experience with Teamworks products (Hub, Coaching, Scouting) or similar sports performance and operations platforms.
- Prior experience working for a technology company is intriguing, though not required - demonstrates understanding of SaaS business models and product adoption.
- Track record of presenting to large groups and engaging diverse stakeholders with varying technical expertise.
- Comfort with learning new technology platforms quickly and teaching others how to maximize value from them.
- Understanding of sales processes, pipeline management, and quota achievement in B2B environments.
