Job Description

• Install, configure, test, upgrade, and maintain network/security equipment and software in a multi-vendor environment • Troubleshooting network systems including LAN, WAN, and cloud/hybrid-cloud environments • Balance a mix of operational and project work in a fast-paced environment • Be proactive in the monitoring of all network devices and services • Research and recommend innovative approaches for system administration tasks • Draft, update, and follow detailed knowledge articles relating to established processes • Participate in a rotating 24/7 production on call schedule

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
5-10+ years of hands-on network engineering experience
Expertise in wireless networking (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax) and wireless security (WPA2, WPA3)
Experience managing Palo Alto Networks next-generation firewalls via Panorama
Hands-on experience with Juniper Networks platforms (ACX, MX, EX, and SRX devices)
Experience designing, implementing, and supporting Velocloud SDWAN fabrics
Knowledge of network security protocols and standards (e.g., RADIUS, PKI, 802.1X, IPSEC)
Proven ability related to multi-tasking and effective time management
