Job Description

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for the R&D organization • Partner with Engineering and Product leaders to provide financial insights and support strategic initiatives • Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate investments, headcount, and project ROI • Analyze and report on R&D spend, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities • Support the transition to an AI-first strategy by modeling new business scenarios and investment cases • Collaborate with broader FP&A and GTM teams to connect financial planning across Sales, Marketing, and Product • Provide AWS cost modeling and forecasting support • Additional projects and responsibilities as business needs require

Job Requirements

5+ years of relevant experience in Finance or Accounting (3+ years of experience in a focused-FP&A role)
Strong analytical and financial skills; proficient in interpreting complex financial data, forecasting, financial modeling, budgeting, variance analysis, and deriving insights from data to inform strategic decisions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to clearly convey goals and intentions in writing, explain solutions easily digestible by a wide audience
Ability to translate financial goals into business and operational plans, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement
Strong experience with Excel/Google Sheets and Powerpoint/Google Slides
Experience with FP&A tools (e.g., Adaptive, Netsuite)
Experience in SaaS or cloud/subscription business models, a plus
Exposure to AWS cost modeling and forecasting, a plus
Experience partnering with Product or Engineering teams, a plus
