Job Description

• Lead complex frontend projects that establish Vercel as a gold standard for brand and product marketing. • Collaborate with growth and marketing teams to A/B test landing pages for lead generation across multiple channels. • Design and implement scalable applications, web services, and APIs with a focus on user experience and performance. • Contribute to our design system and uphold industry-leading UX standards (e.g., interactions, micro-animations, layout consistency). • Continuously improve engineering processes, tools, and systems to scale the codebase and team productivity. • Troubleshoot and fix bugs, delivering quick, high-quality resolutions. • Write technical documents and maintain internal tools to empower other teams. • Review and provide feedback on contributions from other engineers. • Identify bottlenecks and optimize for conversion, speed, and reliability across the funnel. • Critically think about foundational areas of the Vercel application to ensure ease of maintenance and future extensibility.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional frontend engineering experience (React, JavaScript, Tailwind CSS, or similar).
  • Strong proficiency in Next.js and familiarity with modern frontend frameworks.
  • Full stack experience (comfortable designing or consuming APIs and working with various services).
  • Deep understanding of SEO principles and best practices—especially around performance, accessibility, and search optimization.
  • Proven knowledge of A/B testing concepts and conversion rate optimization.
  • Stellar cross-functional communication skills—you can work effectively with marketing, design, and product to reach shared goals.
  • Eye for good user experiences and a knack for “getting the visuals right.”
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced environment, continuously grow, and master your craft.
