Job Description

• Develop, build, and operationalize our credit portfolio focused on balancing growth vs. risk with an end goal of minimizing our loss rate. • Optimize our efforts to reduce bad debt and loss rates across current and future FloatMe products while delivering on our business goals. • Drive our credit risk philosophy for new and existing customers, understanding different levers and acceptable risk. • Work with our internal Data Engineering team to improve our processes and learnings through machine learning. • Consistently review data and deliver results on credit risk, user trends, and adjust our thresholds accordingly. • Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Compliance, Product, Engineering and Member Support to reduce bad debt while keeping our users top of mind.

Job Requirements

8+ years of experience in progressive experience in credit, ideally within consumer lending.
Demonstrated consumer lending experience in a company that has an end-to-end automated process.
Experience in fintech or modern lending platforms that prioritize automated credit decisioning.
Experience working with product, engineering, member support, compliance, and finance members to establish our risk thresholds, product changes, and consumer usage.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and make sound credit decisions.
Results driven and forward thinking approach with ability to problem-solve complex issues to drive shared goals and outcomes.
Exceptional attention to detail, ability to collaborate and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
