• Analyze potential legal risks and regulatory requirements for new products and technologies • Lead the regulatory licensing process in specific jurisdictions and project manage other teams to obtain key licenses • Prepare responses to regulatory inquiries from FINRA, NFA, and state securities regulators • Detail product and marketing compliance requirements for retail-user facing securities broker-dealers, introducing brokers, futures commissions merchants and similar regulated entities • Outline and oversee regular periodic reporting requirements • Interpret laws and other compliance obligations into requirements for Compliance, Operations, Product, and Engineering teams • Assist with civil, litigation or regulatory matters and supervise outside counsel as needed • Remain up-to-date on relevant finance, payments and digital currency space to ensure an ongoing ability to provide sound marketing compliance advice • Move projects along with a scrappy, no-ego mindset • Quickly learn our dynamic business and our evolving needs as a means of unblocking stuck items and pushing things to completion • Help draft public-facing descriptions of new products and technologies
