• Prepare accurate and compliant monthly financial statements in accordance with GAAP • Assist in the preparation of the annual report and disclosures. • Conduct variance and trend analysis to identify insights, potential risks and opportunities for improvement. • Contribute to the budgeting and forecasting process, providing insightful data and recommendations for financial planning. • Preparation of the regulatory Call Report in accordance with regulatory requirements and other regulatory reporting as required. • Actively participate in the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all entries and accruals are accurately and timely recorded. • Prepare and post general ledger journal entries. • Perform complex reconciliations of general ledger and bank accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies. • Manage and complete the accounts payable function to ensure vendors are paid accurately and timely. • Manage and reconcile fixed assets, finance leases and operational leases. • Conduct research and resolve accounting-related issues. • Identify opportunities to streamline and improve financial processes and procedures, leveraging technology to enhance efficiency and accuracy. • Write accounting procedures as required.
