Job Description
• Cultivate donor prospects through virtual AND in person meetings throughout the state of Texas
• Solicit, secure, and follow up on financial commitments to the foundation
• Research and qualify potential donors based on interests, engagement, and giving capacity
• Support year-end, seasonal giving, and planned giving campaigns
• Partner with the local Texas volunteer teams and Director of Events to coordinate fundraising events and galas
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in liberal arts, business administration, marketing, public relations, accounting, finance, economics, non-profit management, philanthropy studies, psychology, sociology, or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of fundraising, development, advancement, or sales experience in a mission-driven organization
- Proficiency in platforms such as Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides), Excel, and online collaboration tools (e.g., Asana, Zoom, Slack)
- Experience with CRM systems, like Salesforce, and event management systems, like Classy
- Established network of contacts within local Indian and Hindu American communities
