Job Description

• Work closely with customers, Delivery Manager and Project Manager to define customer requirements • Develop technical proposals and set expectations for software implementations/upgrades • Lead technical delivery as per domain expertise workstream • Contribute to software implementation, optimization, troubleshooting, and customization • Act as an SME for the organization and mentor project teams • Manage project team and activities to drive project deliverables • Communicate project status, risks and issues with stakeholders • Lead the Technical Engineering Team in design, deployment, configuration, tuning and testing • Respond to client inquiries, bugs, and product ideas • Perform use case and client-specific testing runs • Debug software and document issues for testing teams • Analyze and assess data and results of project activities

Job Requirements

Bachelor's or Master degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related Engineering Discipline from an accredited university or college
5+ years relevant work experience in electricity industry knowledge
Strong analysis skills including requirements elicitation and management skills
Understanding of requirement tracing to design specification and test plans / cases
Comfortable automating processes and utilizing or building scripting solutions to support product solutions
Software development experience with understanding of SDLC and integrating custom solutions into a product, specifically GEV GridOS product
Familiarity with emerging energy industry trends and implications on utility clients in areas like DER management, Transmission, WAMS, distribution planning, IT, SCADA and asset management
Utility integration experience (E.g. SCADA, ADMS, OT, OMS , WAMS, DERMS, etc.)
Familiarity with Common Interface Model (CIM)
Programming experience in software development with Microsoft Visual Studio / Development tools, Eclipse, C#, and C++ programming
Experience with project testing such as Factory acceptance test (FAT), Site acceptance test (SAT) and user acceptance test (UAT)
Experience with Scripting such as Javascript, CSS and JQuery, Perl script, Python, strawberry Perl, RDBMS systems such as oracle, MS-SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Microsoft Power BI reporting, Tableau, crystal reports, etc
Familiar with handling Big data.
