Job Description
• Embed within key Commerce business initiatives for system alignment
• Define, maintain, and evolve domain and core components
• Create sustainable extensions of the core design system
• Develop educational programming for better system adoption
• Support scalable adoption strategies
• Establish methods to assess and track design system adoption
• Champion the design system by advocating best practices
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a System Designer
- Previously worked as a product designer
- Expert in Figma
- Experience creating, maintaining, and evolving design libraries
- Expertise in design systems tools and workflows (e.g., Storybook, design tokens)
- Experience designing for payment products
- Strong foundation in platform constraints and capabilities
- Track record of governing and contributing to design systems
- Ability to define standards and deliver scalable solutions
- Recognized as a trusted partner and mentor
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity
- Understanding of A/B testing and using data to inform design decisions
- Passion for accessibility and inclusive design
