Job Description

• Develop and maintain competitive compensation plans that align with company goals, sales strategies, and market trends. • Conduct thorough job analysis and evaluation to ensure equitable and consistent compensation practices. • Model potential plan changes and analyze their financial impact. • Clearly document and communicate compensation plans to the sales team and relevant stakeholders. • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to compensation. • Analyze sales performance data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and potential compensation adjustments. • Track key performance indicators (KPI's) related to compensation plans and make data-driven recommendations for optimization. • Partner closely with Sales leadership, HR, and Finance to ensure alignment on compensation strategies and objectives. • Effectively communicate compensation plans and updates to the sales team, addressing questions and concerns. • Streamline and automate compensation processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in sales compensation design and administration, preferably in manufacturing or construction industry.
  • Experience with various compensation plan structures (e.g., quota-based, commission-only, hybrid).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, compensation software, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of sales compensation best practices and regulations.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus.
