Job Description

• Design and develop scalable, low-latency systems capable of handling high-concurrency workloads in real-time voice or multimodal scenarios. • Develop and maintain APIs and services that integrate LLMs and AI features into production environments. • Contribute to our internal AI serving strategy, helping us adopt open-source model-serving and MLOps tools. • Architect and maintain cloud-native backends (GCP) integrating Pub/Sub, Cloud Run, Firestore, and monitoring/alerting tools (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry). • Build and optimize ETL and streaming pipelines, ensuring data consistency, observability, and compliance.

Job Requirements

3+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer or AI Engineer, ideally in Conversational AI or real-time systems.
Proven experience deploying and maintaining AI or LLM-based features in production, with a strong focus on scalability, low latency, and observability.
Strong Python skills, including async programming, clean architectures (Hexagonal, DDD), and testing (Pytest).
Solid understanding of real-time pipelines and low-latency architectures, ideally involving streaming voice or multimodal interaction (LiveKit, WebRTC, etc.).
Expertise with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and monitoring/alerting tools (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry).
Hands-on experience with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) and GitLab CI/CD for automated testing and deployments.
Familiarity with Speech-to-Text (STT) and Text-to-Speech (TTS) engines (Whisper, Deepgram, Google Speech, ElevenLabs).
Fluent in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
