Job Description
• Responsible for the day-to-day support, ongoing upgrades & maintenance, documentation, data quality, and user training of EMR (Electronic Medical Records) platform across all DermCare locations
• Learn DermCare processes in an effort to get consistency in roll out of the new system across multiple offices and locations
• Create and maintain configuration documentation, as well as system and operations documentation and workflows related to the EMR platform
• Offer suggestions and solutions on operational improvements to maximize efficiency, revenue and patient satisfaction
• Participate in creating and implementing training programs for the EMR platform
• Trains end-users and other business teams to maximize adoption of the system
• Perform daily system monitoring, verifying data integrity and ensuring end users are following established processes and protocols
• Perform clinical documentation audits as needed
• Build strong relationships with peers to convey a sense of being a subject matter expert in EMR
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 2+ years experience in software training, EMR platforms, implementation and/or relevant medical practice experience
- Nextech experience required, ModMed background desirable
- Knowledge of medical office procedures and billing
- Solid understanding of practice workflows as it relates to system interaction
- Proficient in MS Office; working knowledge of databases
- Excellent organizational and multitasking ability with strong attention to detail
- Time management skills with ability to set and meet deadlines
- Outstanding interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Professional, patient and balanced approach to handling difficult customer situations
- Takes initiative in goal fulfillment and deadlines
- Ability to travel 25-40% of the time
- Ability to provide some off-hours support, including weekend travel

- Stays current on new features, feature releases , and communicate updates to all end users
- Prepare, maintain and disseminate training materials and user guides
