• Be responsible for the management of the distributed products commodity for assigned business units • Act as point of escalation in the event of any Supplier or Internal issues • Lead key supplier contract and pricing negotiations • Bring contracts and sourcing projects through the gated Passport standard work • Identify saving opportunities (negotiations, transitions, value engineering projects, etc.) and deliver savings to the business • Ensure accurate reporting of all savings/price increases for their area of responsibility • Work with key stakeholders including Supply Chain Directors, Design Engineers, Program Directors and Product Introduction Management to coordinate sourcing decisions on new programs. • Monitor current supplier market conditions, technology roadmaps, and identify supply/demand challenges • Support the development and implementation of strategic commodity plans • Identify opportunities for developing partnerships with Strategic suppliers and lead projects to improve efficiencies within supply base through the combined efforts of RTX and Strategic suppliers • Ability to travel requirement: 20%
