Job Description

• Collaborate with Market Directors and District Managers to align HR strategies with business goals. • Advise senior store leadership on issues that pose escalated risk to the business by providing expert level HR guidance. • Serve as a trusted advisor for partner issues, addressing concerns and resolving conflicts in a fair and consistent manner. • Support talent management and performance management processes, including goal setting, coaching, and feedback. • Collaborate on talent acquisition efforts to attract and retain top retail talent. • Educate field leaders and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices. • Analyze HR metrics and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and proactive intervention. • Support change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and effective communication across retail teams. • Partner with leaders to manage the people side of organizational changes, fostering engagement and alignment. • Partner with cross-functional teams, including Payroll and Legal, to address operational needs. • Proactively identify and participate in special projects focused on increased partner engagement, leadership development, and risk mitigation. • Lead and mentor a team, ensuring effective support for field leadership and store partners.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 5+ years of HR experience, preferably in a retail or field-based environment
  • Ability to travel 25% of the time
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
  • Professional HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred
  • Experience supporting geographically dispersed teams
  • Familiarity with retail industry dynamics and challenges
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with employees at all levels of the organization
  • Excellent problem-solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
