Job Description

• Report directly to the Manager, Enterprise Fraud Strategy • Support business reporting and analytical needs for multi channel payment systems • Work as a member of a multi channel data team • Operate associated systems and tools used for the creation of reports • Analyze fraud trends using statistical modeling including decision tree analysis • Recommend actionable solutions to the Manager, Enterprise Data Strategy • Work closely with the Enterprise Fraud Prevention and Claims teams • Provide data to help identify emerging fraud trends • Produce appropriate data and reporting to fulfill overall business needs • Validate the analysis supporting any strategy changes • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements • Communicate regularly with peer banks and industry organizations • Deliver professional presentations at various forums and committees to multiple levels of leadership.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in statistics or equivalent field of study
OR 5 years data analytics or banking industry experience
4 years hands on experience with card, check, ACH and/or wire fraud strategy development and analysis
Demonstrates aptitude in First Data's Defense Edge, IBM's Safer Payment or equivalent fraud strategy system
Demonstrates proficiency in SAS or an equivalent system
Knowledgeable of analysis tools such as Angoss' KnowledgeStudio
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, & Access)
Demonstrates proficiency for problem solving, analytics, and reporting
Demonstrates ability to manage time and meet deadlines
Works under limited supervision
Demonstrates ability to work proactively & collaboratively in a team environment
Demonstrates strong written communication skills
Demonstrates ability to partner with multiple lines of business to achieve common goal.
