Job Description
• Report to the VP of EHS and serve as the executive point of contact for global EHS strategy and execution.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a global team of EHS professionals, ensuring consistency and excellence in program delivery.
• Own the global EHS roadmap and lead the execution of strategic initiatives across all regions.
• Oversee complex risk assessments and ensure implementation of enterprise-level mitigation strategies.
• Lead global incident investigations, ensuring root cause analysis and systemic corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver executive-level training and communications to support EHS initiatives.
• Monitor global regulatory landscapes and ensure proactive compliance strategies.
• Synthesize global safety data and present actionable insights to the executive team and board-level stakeholders.
• Collaborate with global leaders to implement scalable, harmonized EHS solutions across the portfolio.
• Champion innovation in EHS technologies, analytics, and best practices.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Management.
• Develop and maintain global EHS standards, procedures, templates, and controlled documents to ensure a single source of truth across all markets.
Job Requirements
- A Degree in Environmental, Health and Safety or a related science/engineering discipline with coursework in risk management or safety is preferred, but not required.
- A minimum of 12+ years of progressive experience in EHS is required, including executive leadership roles with demonstrated success managing global risk portfolios and leading high-performing teams.
- Proven ability to drive cultural transformation, influence senior stakeholders, and implement innovative risk control strategies at scale.
- Global experience and a deep understanding of international EHS regulations and standards are highly desirable.
- Travel required is expected to be up to 10% but may increase over time as the business evolves.
