Job Description

• Manufacturing Engineering focal for assigned supplier base • Expected to own the technical performance of multiple suppliers so supplier travel will be frequent (25-50%) • Proactively identifies delivery barriers and resolves with fulfilment, commercial and quality team members • Acts as a Project Manager for large complex suppliers along with others • Guides and influences suppliers’ performance based on manufacturing expertise • Actively drives cost reduction efforts within assigned supply base and is proactively engaged in addressing cost issues • Partners with commercial owners to ensure supplier selection provides desired value

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 8 years of experience in Manufacturing)
At least 8 years of experience in Manufacturing, Engineering or Production Management
Expertise in programming or mechanically supporting traditional (milling, turning, broach, weld) and/or non-traditional (EDM, 3D printing) machining methods
Sourcing, Shop Operations, or Production Control expertise
Manufacturing Experience in Aerospace or Automotive a plus
