The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for maintaining quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products; recording quality results. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: • Responsible for reading and interpreting various ASTM, ANSI, ASME, MSS and ISO Standards, Codes and specifications as they relate to technical requirements in the purchase orders. JOB REQUIREMENTS: • High school diploma or equivalent. • Ability to use calibrated precision dimensional tools including micrometers and calipers. Familiarity with products. • Ability to read and interpret related, in-depth and complicated written specifications, codes, standards and procedures. Ability to prioritize various work assignments to ensure most critical items are inspected first. • Maintain inventory and service levels to meet all customer requirements. Accurately pick and prepare orders for shipment. • Ability to operate forklift.
