Job Description

Company Description Scaled Agile, Inc., (SAI) is a global training and enablement platform equipping enterprises with the capabilities needed to compete in an era defined by rapid change, digital complexity, and AI-driven work. Through SAFe®—the world’s most trusted system for enterprise agility—and a growing portfolio of enterprise AI education and enablement programs, we help organizations make better decisions, accelerate value delivery, and build adaptable, high-performing teams. Supported by a global partner network of more than 400 companies and a vibrant community of more than 2 million trained professionals, SAI equips leaders and teams with the skills, mental models, and operating systems they need to accelerate transformation, improve flow, and unlock value with confidence. Our newest AI-focused offerings are expanding quickly as leaders seek structured, pragmatic guidance on how to become AI-Native and realize ROI where most AI initiatives stall. That’s where our Web team comes in. We design and build the digital experiences that power this transformation—from our public-facing websites to the tools that support our marketing, event, partner, and education teams every day. SAI is headquartered in Boulder, Colorado. There is no requirement that this person live in Colorado, as we have a virtual team with regular in-person meetings.  SAI is a Pledge 1% corporate philanthropy movement member. Through this program, SAI contributes to the local community and seeks to inspire and encourage other companies to do the same. About the Role We’re looking for a skilled, proactive Full Stack Developer to join our Web team. You’ll be responsible for building, optimizing, and maintaining high-performing web applications that integrate with headless CMS platforms—turning modern designs into seamless, scalable user experiences. You’ll work closely with designers, marketers, and other developers to bring projects to life, contribute ideas, and help shape the technical direction of our growing digital ecosystem. What You’ll Be Doing Build and maintain modern, high-performing web applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript Integrate and extend Contentstack and other headless CMS platforms and systems via APIs Translate designs into responsive, accessible web experiences Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define requirements and implement new features Identify and resolve technical issues, refactor code, and reduce technical debt Contribute to our developer documentation and best practices Stay up to date with emerging technologies and bring fresh ideas to the team Qualifications A successful candidate will have: Strong skills with React and Next.js, and proficiency in TypeScript Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles Experience working with headless CMS platforms (Contentstack preferred; WordPress a plus) Familiarity with Vercel or similar deployment tools Experience with Git version control, branching strategies, and CI/CD workflows—comfortable with code reviews, testing releases in staging environments, and coordinating production deployments Experience using Figma and collaborating with design teams Understanding of web performance, accessibility, and analytics tools (e.g., PostHog, Google Analytics) Strong grasp of information architecture and application structure Self-directed and resourceful—you're an independent thinker who can investigate problems, propose solutions, and execute without consistent oversight Collaborative communicator—you enjoy working with both technical and non-technical teammates Adaptable—you thrive in environments where priorities shift and can pivot quickly between strategic projects and urgent requests Quality-focused—you take pride in creating clean, documented, and maintainable code Curious—you enjoy learning new tools, exploring better ways to build, and eagerly iterate based on user feedback What Makes You Stand Out You've maintained and improved large, complex web applications over time You have strong opinions about information architecture and how applications should be structured You've successfully balanced stakeholder needs across multiple teams You can point to projects where you've taken ownership from concept to deployment Why Join Us Work on impactful digital products used by global enterprises and a 2M+ professional community Join a collaborative, supportive team that values innovation and continuous learning Enjoy the flexibility of a remote-first culture with opportunities to connect in person Additional Information Where you’ll be working: We proudly support a collaborative remote environment for our globally distributed teammates, while also using our Boulder office as a resource. #LI-Remote Compensation: Scaled Agile is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The starting base salary range for this role is $100,000–$135,000, plus bonus and equity. Compensation will be based on a variety of factors, including a candidate’s relevant experience, skills, and certifications. Employees of Scaled Agile are also compensated with a competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as optional insurance products such as pet insurance. The package also features a 401 (k) with a match, flexible paid time off, and a company-paid sabbatical after six years of service. All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines. SAI is committed to providing opportunities for professional growth. This position is also posted internally. Employees of Scaled Agile are also compensated with a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, optional insurance products including identity protection and pet insurance, 401K with a match, flexible paid time off, and company paid sabbatical after six years of service, bonus plan, and equity options. Wondering if you should apply? As a company that helps organizations embrace and turn change into opportunity, we’re looking for teammates with diverse experiences who thrive on applying their knowledge in new ways. You don’t need to meet every listed qualification to apply. If you’re motivated by an iterative approach to growth, learning, collaboration, and relentless improvement, we want to hear from you. Work Differently. Build the Future.
