Job Description
• Drive Growth: Execute business plans to grow gross margins
• Prospecting: Perform prospecting activities to generate new sales
• Strategy: Develop and communicate a clear strategy
• Intelligence: Collect and report market information
• Supply Chain Management: Create and maintain pickup/delivery schedules
• Inventory Balancing: Adjust customer volumes and contracts
• Contract Management: Enter farm sales contracts and manage price adjustments
• Cross-Functional Support: Update billing team and management on loads
• Budgeting: Prepare annual budgets and manage expenses
• Credit/AR: Manage accounts receivable risk and ensure timely collections
• Compliance: Operate within established company policies
Job Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in Feed Sales, Account Management, or Logistics
- Bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness, Business, or a related field
- Strong Agricultural/Livestock background (on-farm experience is highly preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Teams and CRM Software
- Assertive and able to accept rejection, and thrive under pressure
- Self-starter capable of problem-solving independently
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills; comfortable mediating between conflicting resource needs
- Willingness to travel up to 20% of time as needed for customer meetings
- Ability to provide support during business hours with occasional evening or weekend availability
