Job Description

• Manage and assist in projects under the EPMO Portfolio, including projects initiated through product teams, strategic projects, and technology • Assist in development and managing project artifacts and processes including scope, schedule, budget, and resources. • Define project objectives, milestones, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. • Execute project planning and tracking, document and communicate project statuses and risks, including standard project status reports and ad hoc communication as assigned. • Manage change control through identification and evaluation of impact on proposed and necessary business or technical changes to scope, requirements, designs or plans. • Keep management and key stakeholders informed on a timely basis on project progress, status and/or concerns to ensure that expectations are met. • Assist in managing and coordinating the implementation of IT projects. • Assist in development of detailed proposals to support Guild projects. • Facilitate onboarding contractors for projects. • Build relationships and work closely with IT and business leaders and staff. • Maintain up to date RAID log to document project risks, assumptions, issues, and decisions. • Identify, assess, and manage program risks and issues. • Analyze project delivery performance metrics, develop KPIs, and project reporting against project milestones, budget and other plan expectations. • Contribute to development and maturity of the Guild EPMO project management practice through development of tools, templates, processes, and standards.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management or related field to the position or equivalent, required.
  • Minimum three years' experience as an IT professional.
  • Minimum of one to three years of project management experience.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Prior experience in Mortgage Banking or Financial Services systems preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Project or Smartsheet.
  • Working knowledge of Jira and Tempo tools, or similar IT management software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented; ability to work in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, Wiki, collaborative cloud-based programs, and third-party software applications required.
