• Manage and oversee daily accounts payable operations, including invoice processing, payment runs, and expense reimbursements • Lead, train, and mentor the accounts payable specialist to ensure accuracy and efficiency • Review and process invoices, payment batches • Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations • Resolve vendor inquiries and discrepancies in a timely and professional manner • Monitor AP aging reports and ensure timely payments while optimizing cash flow • Support month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and accruals • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within accounts payable
