• Primary responsibility is to assist in preparation of financial journal entries and supporting schedules according to monthly close schedule • Prepare and record asset, liability, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information • Reconcile accounts monthly to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance • Prepare documentation for external auditors • Analyze financial data and explain variances to management • Improve accounting processes and internal controls • Collaborate closely with departments across the organization
