• Own and execute the monthly revenue close process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance • Review and oversee revenue share calculations, account reconciliations, and AR matching results • Develop processes for the preparation and recording of required journal entries for certain processes • Ownership of data flows and system dependencies for financial reporting • Support cross-functional initiatives including new product launches, cost of revenue analysis, and ad-hoc accounting requests • Analyze results and variances, identifying trends, and recommend actions • Maintain process documentation and ensure SOX control readiness as the business scales • Serve as revenue accounting lead for stand-alone state audits and regulatory reviews • Ensure revenue accounting practices are compliant with GAAP • Coordinate and manage external audit requests, including PBCs, walkthroughs, and follow-ups • Provide hands-on leadership to a team of revenue accounting professionals, balancing direct execution with coaching, review, and team development • Must be open to occasional travel to Fanatics Betting & Gaming offices and other locations for conferences, events, meetings, and team building activities.
