Job Description

This position is tasked with developing and managing federal capabilities and services to meet the needs of federal government clients, including agencies such as the Department of Defense, Department of Veterans Affairs, and Department of Health and Human Services. Accountable for the Federal Utilization Management (UM) capability within a broader Medical Management portfolio Monitor and interpret market, regulatory, and customer trends to anticipate federal customer needs Design, document and implement new or enhanced business processes for utilization management operations Partner with technology, data and architecture teams to translate capability and operational requirements Support implementation readiness by validating systems and technology designs Develop use-case and scenario-based requirements to inform prioritization Develop and maintain capability artifacts ensuring alignment across stakeholders Identify, assess, and document solution risks and vulnerabilities Translate federal customer requirements into a differentiated capability Serve as the capability lead on assigned pursuits

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in product and/or capability management or closely related role
  • Domain experience in clinical capability development
  • Experience translating business and operational needs into capability requirements
  • Experience documenting and managing product and capability-related artifacts
  • Experience operating across complex problem spaces
  • Experience leading capability definition and development across a full lifecycle
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%
  • Experience in the healthcare industry
  • Experience with healthcare technology
  • Experience adapting quickly to changes in work direction
  • Experience developing creative solutions to complex problems
  • Experience using data and research to formulate strategic business recommendations
  • Understanding of Department of Defense (DOD), Veterans Administration (VA) and Health and Human Services (HHS) markets
  • Familiarity with UM-related platforms, workflows, or integrations
  • Proven ability to balance strategic thinking with urgency
  • Proven team player with solid ability to form working professional relationships
