Job Description

• Prepare and post journal entries for accruals, prepaids, revenue, COGS, inventory adjustments, and other routine transactions • Perform detailed balance sheet and income statement account reconciliations, researching and resolving discrepancies • Support the month-end and year-end close to ensure timely, accurate financial results • Assist with revenue recognition, deferred revenue, and subscription activity as applicable • Maintain schedules for fixed assets, depreciation, and prepaid expenses • Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal accounting policies and controls • Support automation and system integrations between ERP, order management, WMS, and payment platforms • Contribute to process documentation, continuous improvement, and scaling of accounting operations as the business grows • Assist with ad hoc reporting and special projects as needed

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
3–6+ years of progressive, hands-on accounting experience, preferably in eCommerce, retail, or consumer products
Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and core accounting principles
Experience with inventory accounting and cost of goods sold in a product-based business
Proficiency in Excel (lookups, pivots, large data sets)
Experience using ERP/accounting systems such as NetSuite, QuickBooks Online, or similar
Exposure to eCommerce platforms and payment processors is strongly preferred
Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
Self-starter mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
Clear written and verbal communication skills.
