Job Description

• Conduct in-depth market industry research: Be an expert on the complex and dynamic market landscape of data security, data management, and adjacent domains, including topics like market trends and disruptive technological advances • Know the competitive landscape: Monitor competitors’ business models, product offerings, pricing strategies, and M&A activities to have a consistent pulse on the competitive landscape to inform strategy recommendations, GTM motions, and product roadmap; identify "white space" in the market where competitor offerings are failing to meet evolving enterprise needs • Deliver executive briefings: Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders by delivering insight-backed briefings and strategic recommendations based on key industry trends and competitive dynamics; be the “go to” person for market insights across the Software business • Cultivate cross functional relationships: Build and maintain cross-functional partnerships with stakeholders across Capital One Software including Strategy, GTM, Product, and Product Marketing • Build out market and competitive intelligence program: as a new functional role for Capital One Software, you will get to build the competitive intelligence program from the ground up, shaping how it is developed.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in any quantitative field (Business, Math, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Science, Engineering)
At least 2 years of experience in quantitative analysis
At least 2 years of experience in qualitative analysis
At least 1 year of experience in people management
At least 1 year of experience in project management
Master’s Degree in Business or quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Physical Sciences, Math, Statistics, Engineering (Preferred)
5+ years of experience in quantitative analysis (Preferred)
5+ years of experience in qualitative analysis (Preferred)
2+ years of experience in people management (Preferred)
2+ years of experience in product development (Preferred)
2+ years of experience in financial modeling (Preferred)
