Job Description

This role offers a unique opportunity for a strategic and results-driven product professional to lead the data and analytics vision across a complex SaaS platform. The Product Manager will define and execute a unified data strategy, driving APIs, reporting, and business intelligence initiatives that enhance product value, enable regulatory compliance, and support strategic growth. Success in this position relies on close collaboration with engineering, product, and customer teams to translate market needs into actionable, scalable solutions. The role requires a balance of technical understanding, product leadership, and strong communication skills to influence both internal teams and external stakeholders. You will guide the evolution of data services, ensuring integrity, accessibility, and monetization where applicable. This position provides the autonomy to shape data capabilities while actively engaging with customers and industry thought leaders. Define and own the product vision and roadmap for Data Services, including APIs, reporting, and business intelligence. Establish and formalize a unified data strategy across the product portfolio. Engage directly with customers and stakeholders to understand analytics, reporting, and integration needs. Partner with Product Owners and engineering teams to translate strategy into detailed backlog items, epics, and user stories. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as Part 11, HIPAA, GDPR, and global data privacy standards. Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Security, Architecture, Customer Success, and Sales to deliver scalable, high-value data capabilities. Define monetization strategies for premium analytics and API-based offerings.

Job Requirements

  • 5–10+ years of Product Management experience in a SaaS environment.
  • Proven experience managing APIs, reporting, analytics, or data platform products.
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs, data modeling, integrations, and BI frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to define product strategy and translate it into actionable roadmaps.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Preferred: experience in clinical trials, life sciences, healthcare, regulated industries, data warehousing, ETL, and BI tools (Snowflake, Redshift, Power BI, Tableau).
