Job Description

Kaman Corporate is seeking a Payroll Manager responsible for leading end-to-end payroll operations across a global multi-entity, fast-paced environment. This role ensures accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing while managing a remote payroll team. The Payroll Manager will play a key role in system integrations, M&A activity, and continuous process improvement, partnering closely with HR, Finance, and external vendors to support organizational growth. Lead and oversee full cycle global payroll processing across multiple countries, including salaries, bonuses, incentive compensation, and statutory deductions. Manage and develop a fully remote, geographically dispersed payroll team, driving performance, accountability, and adherence to strict international payroll deadlines. Ensure compliance with country specific tax regulations, labor laws, and reporting requirements across global jurisdictions. Review and approve payroll registers, reconciliations, funding reports, and statutory filings prior to submission. Serve as the primary escalation point for complex, multi-country payroll issues, ensuring timely and accurate resolution. Maintain global payroll data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance with internal controls, audit standards, and regulatory requirements. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll laws and tax regulations. Oversee payroll tax filings, garnishments, benefit deductions, and statutory requirements. Lead year-end payroll activities, including W-2 preparation and distribution. Support internal and external audits, including wage and hours, pay equity, and regulatory reporting. Partner with HR, Finance, and Legal on compliance-related matters. Serve as the global payroll systems subject matter expert for ADP (Workforce Now / Lyric) and related HRIS platforms, supporting multi-country operations. Lead and support global payroll integrations related to acquisitions, cross border expansions, and enterprise-wide system implementations. Ensure seamless alignment and integration between global payroll, timekeeping, HR, and finance systems across multiple countries, currencies, and legal entities. Maintain and optimize global system configurations, including country specific earnings codes, deductions, tax structures, statutory reporting, and compliance rules. Partner with global HR, IT, Finance, and external vendors to troubleshoot complex multi-jurisdictional issues, conduct user acceptance testing (UAT), and validate system updates prior to deployment. Identify and implement process improvements, automation, and standardization across payroll operations. Partner cross-functionally with HR on employee lifecycle changes (hires, terminations, comp changes, benefits). Collaborate with Finance on reporting, reconciliations, and financial controls. Support a scalable payroll infrastructure aligned with business growth and organizational changes.
